Editing Styles
We combine two styles of editing to create your final video, documentary and montage. Documentary portrays the day just as it unfolds, using the actual audio from the church or reception location. This style does not use many fancy effects and documents the day and the real aspects of it. We also use montage, sometimes called highlight editing. This style uses music selected by you and creates more of a music montage video. By combining both of these styles we can create a more diversified video and allow you to watch and show your favorite parts without having to watch the entire video. Examples of these styles can be seen in the sample movies section. |

Two Tier Editing
Pittsburgh Wedding DVD uses a two tier approach to editing every video. We employ a lead editor and screener on every project. The lead editor emerges themselves within your project and edits, views and compiles the video. Just as a proofreader can see errors and oversights the screeners' responsibility is to view each project with new eyes and watch the video as you would see it. The screener makes notes on any possible changes and discusses them with the lead editor. We have found this process to be very effective and benefit the final product. |
